This winch is not designed to hold a trailered item in place. Manufacturer Approved tie downs are recommended to secure an item on a trailer.

This winch comes with a BlueSteel synthetic cable. It is lighter weight so it is easier to work with and it floats.

The 12-strand single braid Dyneema (UHMWPE) material.  Blue Steel has extremely great resistance to flex-fatigue.  Synthetic cable using Dyneema are much safer and easier to use than the traditional wire cable as the fiber does not stretch.
